Privacy
Last updated . This page describes everything the site collects. It will be updated before anything else is added.
Cookies and accounts
The site's pages do not set cookies, and the site has no accounts, sign-in, or forms. It does not show advertising.
Visit statistics
We useCloudflare Web Analyticsto count page views and measure how fast pages load. It does not use cookies or other browser storage, and Cloudflare states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data or fingerprint visitors to produce these statistics. We see only totals, such as which pages were viewed, which sites linked to them, and the visitor's country, device type, browser, and operating system.
The statistics script loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and sends its measurements to this site's own address (/cdn-cgi/rum). Blocking it does not change how the site works.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses, as described inCloudflare's privacy policy. If Cloudflare asks your browser to complete a security check, it sets a cookie (cf_clearance) so the check is not repeated. Cloudflare's security reports, which we can view, may show the IP address of a request it blocked or challenged.
Embedded videos and maps
Some guides include a YouTube video or a Google Maps view. Nothing from YouTube or Google loads until you press its play or show-map button. When you do, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode) or the map from google.com, andGoogle's privacy policyapplies to that content, including any cookies it sets. Each embed also has a plain link to the same video or map.
Links to other sites
Guides link to official sources, and the share buttons open other services such as X, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn, or your email app. Nothing from those services loads until you click, and their own privacy policies apply once you do.
